Baseball Recap: McDonogh Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for McDonogh's offense. They fell 5-0 to the John Carroll Patriots on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

McDonogh's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for John Carroll, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-2 record this season.

McDonogh will challenge Glenelg Country at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for John Carroll, they will square off against DeMatha at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
