Basketball Recap: Passaic Comes Up Short

Passaic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trenton Central Tornadoes. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tornadoes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Passaic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Trenton Central, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

When Passaic and Trenton Central next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Passaic will try to stop Passaic Valley's three-game winning streak when the meet at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Trenton Central will square off against Robbinsville and their three-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
