Soccer Recap: Glynn Academy Takes a Loss

Glynn Academy managed to slip by Greenbrier the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Terrors came up short against the Wolfpack on Friday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Glynn Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Greenbrier are ranked 19th).

Glynn Academy's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 12-4-1. As for Greenbrier, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Glynn Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenbrier, they will square off against Rome at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenbrier's defense better be ready for this one: Rome have averaged an impressive 4.3 goals per game this season.
