Volleyball Recap: St. John's Prep Red Storm vs. Holy Cross Knights
St. John's Prep lost against Holy Cross back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Storm fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, St. John's Prep sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 25-27, 17-15.
St. John's Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Matthew Mendoza, who had 20 digs and two aces.
St. John's Prep now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Holy Cross, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
