Basketball Recap: Jesus Chapel Finds Home Court Redemption Against Job Corps

There's no place like home for Jesus Chapel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 43-39 victory over the Job Corps Titans on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Chargers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Despite the defeat, Job Corps saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ray Lemos posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of ADRIAN RIVERA, who had seven points.

Jesus Chapel's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Job Corps, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jesus Chapel will face off against El Paso HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. El Paso HomeSchool will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Jesus Chapel surely won't give up without a fight. As for Job Corps, they will host Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
