The Titusville Terriers will challenge the Astronaut War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Titusville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Cocoa a 16-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Terriers considering their two-run performance the game before.

Jesse Decter made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Titusville is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-11 otherwise. Decter was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI.
In other pitching news, Ethan Lynskey looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Nolan Edwards was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Chase Hill, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
Titusville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cocoa only posted a batting average of .000.
Meanwhile, Astronaut posted their closest win since March 26, 2024 on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Space Coast 7-6.
Astronaut saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Holden Quinn, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Brennan Waldrop was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one triple.
Titusville's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Astronaut, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
Titusville couldn't quite finish off Astronaut in their previous matchup back in March and fell 8-6. Can the Terriers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
