Basketball Recap: Bowie Piles Up the Points Against Dripping Springs

Bowie entered their tilt with Dripping Springs on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Dripping Springs Tigers 63-32. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bailey Rogers, who posted nine points and seven rebounds. That's the most boards Rogers has posted since back in December of 2023. Rain Collins also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Bowie has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Dripping Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-19.

Bowie has already played their next game, a 63-33 loss against Westlake on the 24th. As for Dripping Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 65-34 defeat against Lake Travis on the 24th.
