Volleyball Recap: Spoto Spartans vs. Wharton Wildcats
After flying high against King last Monday, Spoto came back down to earth. The Spoto Spartans came up short against the Wharton Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Wharton can attribute much of their success to Lauren Galfond, who had three digs and two aces. Galfond is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Spoto dropped their record down to 3-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Wharton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spoto will venture away from home to face off against Hillsborough at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wharton, they will square off against Strawberry Crest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
