Lumpkin County waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chestatee War Eagles. The Indians were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the War Eagles, so the Indians were just returning the favor.

Lumpkin County's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Chestatee, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lumpkin County will venture away from home to take on East Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chestatee, they will take on Cherokee Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
