Volleyball Recap: Atchison County Comes Up Short

Atchison County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Pleasant Ridge Rams. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rams this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15.

Atchison County's loss dropped their record down to 0-24-1. As for Pleasant Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13-5 record this season.

Atchison County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] on the 14th. As for Pleasant Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Shawnee Mission South on the 11th.
