Baseball Game Preview: Hamilton Big Blue vs. Sycamore Aviators

The Hamilton Big Blue will challenge the Sycamore Aviators at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Hamilton managed to slip by Princeton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Big Blue lost 11-1 to the Vikings on Monday.

Hamilton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Iglesia, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Meanwhile, Sycamore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to Princeton.

Hamilton has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Sycamore, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Hamilton came out on top in a nail-biter against Sycamore when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 9-7. Do the Big Blue have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Aviators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
