The High Point Baptist Academy Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Lancaster County Christian Lions at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

High Point Baptist Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Conestoga Christian as High Point Baptist Academy made off with a 71-49 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-15.

High Point Baptist Academy found their leader in underclassman Mason Rogers, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 20 rebounds. The match was Rogers' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Noah MacCartney was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Luke Esbenshade was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.

High Point Baptist Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. As for Lancaster County Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. High Point Baptist Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 65.8 points per game. It's a different story for Lancaster County Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 54.5 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.

Everything came up roses for High Point Baptist Academy against Lancaster County Christian in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 62-27 win. With High Point Baptist Academy ahead 40-18 at the half, the match was all but over already.
