Soccer Recap: Quitman Victorious

Quitman took a seven-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Clarkdale, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 3-2.

Quitman has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five contests. As for Clarkdale, their record now sits at 5-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Quitman will challenge rival Southeast Lauderdale at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clarkdale is set to take on their familiar foe Enterprise at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
