Volleyball Recap: Ravenna Comes Up Short

Ravenna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mogadore Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ravens of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13.

Jalysia Thompson paced Ravenna's offense, picking up three kills. Thompson got some help from Jordyn Allen and her five assists.

Ravenna's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Ravenna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Maple Heights on the 19th. As for Mogadore, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Tallmadge on the 16th.
