Lumberton has gone 8-2 against Silsbee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 673rd, while the Cardinals are ranked 193rd).

Lumberton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 52 goals over those 12 games. Silsbee's loss dropped their record down to 7-12-1.
