Baseball Recap: Lubbock Victorious

Lubbock won the last time they faced Palo Duro and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Westerners walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Dons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Westerners.

The team relied heavily on Jeff Barrera, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Richard Woodard, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Lubbock's record is now 8-20. As for Palo Duro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.
