Football Game Preview: Stillman Valley Cardinals vs. North Boone Vikings

The Stillman Valley Cardinals will square off against the North Boone Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Stillman Valley took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They secured a 21-15 W over Oregon.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Boone). They breezed past Lutheran to the tune of 55-0 on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Vikings' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Stillman Valley now has a winning record of 4-3. As for North Boone, they moved to 4-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Everything came up roses for Stillman Valley against North Boone in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-7 victory. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
