Volleyball Game Preview: Winter Haven Blue Devils vs. Frostproof Bulldogs

The Winter Haven Blue Devils will challenge the Frostproof Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Winter Haven didn't have quite enough to beat Lake Region and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Thunder: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Frostproof came up short against Davenport on Monday and fell 3-1. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Broncos 25-21 in the first set.

Frostproof started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-19.

Winter Haven's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Frostproof, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
