Gadsden had to endure a 15-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Alamogordo Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since September 6th.

Gadsden was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 15-0.

Gadsden's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 3-19. As for Alamogordo, they dropped their record down to 7-16 with the defeat, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season.
