Basketball Game Preview: Peotone Blue Devils vs. Lisle Lions

Peotone is 1-9 against Lisle since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Peotone Blue Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Lisle Lions at 6:45 p.m.

Peotone is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell just short of Coal City by a score of 68-65 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Blue Devils have suffered since January 25th.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lisle took on Herscher on Tuesday. Lisle snuck past Herscher with a 51-47 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

This is the second loss in a row for Peotone and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Lisle, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-5.

Peotone couldn't quite finish off Lisle in their previous meeting back in January and fell 50-47. Can Peotone avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
