Football Game Preview: Southwest Florida Christian King's vs. Neumann Celtics + Official Tickets

Southwest Florida Christian is 1-7 against Neumann since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Southwest Florida Christian comes in on five and Neumann on three.

Two weeks ago, Southwest Florida Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over IMG Academy State, taking the game 28-21.

Southwest Florida Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Hill out in front who threw for 203 yards and three TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes. That's the most passing yards Hill has posted since back in August. Another receiver making a difference was Brendan Sitar, who picked up 98 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Southwest Florida Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Craighan Mitchell. Another thorn in IMG Academy State's side was Kru Voltz, who made 13 total tackles.

Meanwhile, Neumann didn't have too much breathing room in their game against North Miami Beach last Friday, but they still walked away with a 20-14 victory.

Neumann had a senior duo take command as Peyton Frontino threw for 285 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt and Jayden Petit picked up 185 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Petit really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 73 yards.

Southwest Florida Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Neumann, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
