Basketball Recap: North Huron Warriors vs. Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers

North Huron was the 29-24 winner over Carsonville-Port Sanilac when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The North Huron Warriors received a blow on Thursday as they fell 29-15 to the Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Huron's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jenna Schornack, who posted three points along with nine boards and three steals. Emily Souva was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Even though they lost, North Huron smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. This was only their third loss (out of 12 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
