Football Recap: Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon Takes a Loss

Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon was the 21-18 winner over Thompson when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets fell just short of the Tommies by a score of 14-12 on Friday.

Charlie Yon had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 188 yards and one TD, while also picking up 46 receiving yards for Thompson.

Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Thompson, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon is set to square off against their familiar foe Rugby on Friday. Meanwhile, Thompson will take on rival Langdon/Edmore/Munich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tommies 10.8, Langdon/Edmore/Munich 5.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
