Volleyball Recap: Pamlico County's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pamlico County entered their tilt with Lejeune on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Devilpups 3-0. The Hurricanes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Devilpups, too.

Pamlico County walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-17.

Julia Bain paced Pamlico County's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bain got some help from Dakota Schmidt and her 22 assists. Bain also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Avery Hettinger, racking up three apiece.

Pamlico County's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Lejeune, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pamlico County will face off against rival East Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lejeune is set to take on their familiar foe Southside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
