Baseball Game Preview: Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers vs. Springfield Tigers

Minnesota Valley Lutheran is 1-9 against Springfield since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Chargers will be playing at home against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Minnesota Valley Lutheran 3.8, Springfield 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Noah Neperman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Brayden Sturm was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
