Basketball Recap: Daystar Academy Takes a Loss

Daystar Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 59-47 to the Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros.

Daystar Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-4.

Daystar Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Shore Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, they will be playing at home against Noble Street College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cristo Rey Jesuit has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
