Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Starts off Right with Win over Coshocton

Sheridan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Coshocton Redskins with a sharp 3-0 win. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sheridan took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-7.

Grace Stoltz had an outrageously good game as she had 15 digs and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 14 times she's played.

Stoltz wasn't the only good server: Sheridan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Coshocton's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Sheridan is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Meadowbrook at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. Coshocton has already played their next match (against Morgan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
