Baseball Recap: Denmark Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Denmark and Marinette meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Vikings fell just short of the Marines by a score of 10-9. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Marines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Denmark has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Marinette, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Marines beat Denmark by a score of 3-2 later that day.
