Volleyball Recap: Monroe Area's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games + How To Watch

Monroe Area came into Tuesday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Washington-Wilkes Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Monroe Area's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Washington-Wilkes, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Monroe Area and Washington-Wilkes will both be playing Oglethorpe County the next time they take the court. The Purple Hurricanes will head out to face the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
