Football Recap: Bells Takes a Loss

Bells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Plainview Indians. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 397th in Texas, while the Indians are ranked 66th in Oklahoma).

Despite the loss, Bells still got an impressive performance from Jaxon Brown, who rushed for 154 yards and four scores.

Bells' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Plainview, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bells will welcome Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Plainview, they will host Davis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
