After a string of five wins, Plano's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 55-41 to the Ottawa Pirates. The Reapers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Plano's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ottawa, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Plano wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-59 victory against Marengo on the 17th. As for Ottawa, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mendota at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
