Amite came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Pine Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 21-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Amite's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Pine, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Amite will square off against rival Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pine is set to challenge their familiar foe Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
