Soccer Game Preview: Latin vs. Lake Forest Academy

Latin is a perfect 4-0 against Lake Forest Academy since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Romans will square off against the Caxys at 4:30 p.m. Latin's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, Latin didn't have quite enough to beat Lincoln Park and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Lake Forest Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Union Grove.

Latin has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Lake Forest Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Latin took their win against Lake Forest Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Romans repeat their success, or do the Caxys have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
