Basketball Game Preview: Betsy Layne Bobcats vs. Morgan County Cougars

Having just played yesterday, the Betsy Layne Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Morgan County Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Betsy Layne knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Morgan County likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Betsy Layne duked it out withPaintsville on Monday. Betsy Layne took a 64-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paintsville.

Meanwhile, Morgan County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 72-53 to Boyd County.

Morgan County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7. As for Betsy Layne, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Betsy Layne barely slipped by Morgan County in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, winning 59-58. Will Betsy Layne repeat their success, or does Morgan County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
