 In what's become a running theme this season, Northampton County gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. They never let the Weldon Chargers onto the board and left with  an   18-0  victory. While fans of Northampton County might be used to big wins, the 18-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
  Jereminah Gholson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Gholson has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive pitching appearances. Gholson was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing six bases while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Demarjhe Justice, who  scored three  runs and  stole eight bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Jeremiah Harris, who  scored three  runs and  stole six bases while going 3-for-4.
 On Weldon's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Elliot Campbell, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases.
 Even though they lost, Weldon was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of 1.000. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northampton County only posted a  batting average of  .524.
 The  win (which was Northampton County's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3-1. As for Weldon, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Warren County the next time they take the field. Weldon will  host Warren County at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday, while Northampton County will  host them  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
