Volleyball Recap: Ephrata Takes a Loss

Ephrata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Warwick Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 3rd.

Austin Fries paced Ephrata's offense, picking up 12 kills. Fries got some help from Brayden Fries and his 30 assists. Finally, Prabvir Kullar kept Ephrata's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Ephrata's loss dropped their record down to 5-15-3. As for Warwick, their win bumped their record up to 4-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ephrata will face off against rival Manheim Township at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Warwick is set to challenge their familiar foe Penn Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
