Dunbar suffers sixth straight loss on the road

The Dunbar Wolverines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 84-17 defeat at the hands of St. Francis DeSales. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dunbar has scored all season.

Rayne Manson was Dunbar's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Da'mya Hogan held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Dunbar's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-10. As for St. Francis DeSales, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dunbar's road trip will continue as they head out to face Franklin Monroe at 11:00 a.m. on January 20th. As for St. Francis DeSales, they will take on Grove City at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
