Basketball Game Preview: St. Peter Saints vs. Kasson-Mantorville Komets

The St. Peter Saints will venture away from home to take on the Kasson-Mantorville Komets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, St. Peter had to suffer through a 77-38 loss at the hands of Marshall. The game marked the Saints' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Kasson-Mantorville made easy work of Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Tuesday and carried off a 60-40 win.

Kasson-Mantorville's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for St. Peter, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3.

Everything came up roses for St. Peter against Kasson-Mantorville in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 66-37 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Peter since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
