Volleyball Recap: Holy Trinity Comes Up Short

Holy Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mansueto Leopards.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Holy Trinity sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 15-25, 25-22.

Holy Trinity's record is now 3-13. As for Mansueto, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Holy Trinity will host Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mansueto, they will head out on the road to take on Proviso East at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
