Football Recap: Secaucus Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Secaucus's offense. They were dealt a 38-0 loss at the hands of the New Providence Pioneers on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Pioneers are ranked 105th).

Secaucus' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for New Providence, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

While Secaucus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
