It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Silver Lake had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Trinity Academy Knights by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 34th in a row.

Silver Lake never let Trinity Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-17.

Jaiden Wise paced Silver Lake's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wise got some help from Kylie Hanni and her 26 assists.

Silver Lake's victory bumped their record up to 44-1. As for Trinity Academy, they moved to 30-6 with that loss, which also ended their nine-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Silver Lake and Trinity Academy will both be playing Holton the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Wildcats on Saturday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
