Basketball Game Preview: Park View Patriots vs. Woodgrove Wolverines

Park View hasn't had much luck against Woodgrove recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Park View Patriots will welcome the Woodgrove Wolverines at 7:00 p.m.

Park View is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They came up short against John Champe, falling 68-48.

Meanwhile, Woodgrove waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 win over the Phoenix. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolverines have posted since January 23, 2024.

Woodgrove's win came from a few key players Park View will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dane Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Marsh is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Will Twetten, who posted 20 points.

Woodgrove's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6. As for Park View, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
