Preview: Roosevelt vs. Fort Dodge
Roosevelt will challenge Fort Dodge on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Roosevelt aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the squad has another upset up their sleeve.
After having lost a blowout in their contest two weeks ago against Ankeny, Roosevelt were happy to find some success last Friday. Roosevelt secured a 25-20 W over Sioux City West. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Roosevelt as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
The crowd came for a game, and Fort Dodge and Southeast Polk sure delivered. It was a matchup that couldn't have wound up any closer, but Fort Dodge snuck past Southeast Polk for the 22-21 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Fort Dodge.
Their wins bumped Roosevelt to 3-3 and Fort Dodge to 4-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Roosevelt and Fort Dodge clash.
