Baseball Recap: Bourgeois Takes a Loss

Bourgeois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dunham Tigers, falling 14-4. The Braves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in February of 2021.

Evan Ledet was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was William Brown, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Bourgeois' loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Dunham, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Bourgeois has already played their next game (against Franklinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dunham, they have already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Catholic - N.I. on the 8th.
