             Vero Beach has gone 10-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Vero Beach Indians will be playing at home against the Central Cobras  at 7:00  p.m. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Vero Beach will head into Friday's  matchup hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big  two weeks ago (they won by 27) but  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  10-7  win over Heritage. The ten-point effort marked the Indians' lowest-scoring  game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
 Vero Beach found their leader in underclassman  Champ Monds, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 116 yards  on nine of 13 attempts. Those 83  rushing yards set a new season-high mark for  Monds.
 Meanwhile, Central had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hurricanes 34-6 on the road. The result was nothing new for the Cobras, who have now won four matches by 27  points or more  so far this season.
 The critical scores for Central came from  Brandon Cummings,  Trey Flowers,  Jamal Love,  Anthony Lamattina,  and  Lamattina.
 Vero Beach's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
