Tri-City Christian came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on April 10th.

The victory didn't come easy: St. Joseph Academy scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-21.

Timmy Lischio paced Tri-City Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lischio got some help from Logan Daichendt and his 38 assists. Daichendt was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

St. Joseph Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Dominic Gale and Jacob Lulling. Gale had nine kills, four blocks, three digs, and three aces, while Lulling had ten digs and one assist. Gale has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played.

Tri-City Christian pushed their record up to 11-12 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for St. Joseph Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.
