Crescenta Valley won the last time they faced Arcadia and Xavier Thompson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Falcons simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Apaches 56-20 thanks in part to Thompson, who rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Crescenta Valley is 4-1 when Thompson posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Crescenta Valley's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Leonidas Grant with two.
