Volleyball Recap: Malibu Makes It Three in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Granada Hills Charter, Malibu was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Channel Islands Raiders by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Sharks in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Malibu pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Channel Islands, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Malibu will challenge rival Fillmore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Channel Islands is set to take on their familiar foe Hueneme at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
