Football Recap: Chamberlain Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chamberlain dropped to 5-2 on Friday, ending the team's seven-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They were dealt a 35-8 loss at the hands of the Jefferson Dragons. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Storm, who until this game were averaging 12.71 points allowed.

Despite the loss, Chamberlain still got an impressive performance from Anthony Ford, who rushed for 101 yards and one TD on only 14 carries.

As for Jefferson, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won seven matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.

Jefferson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Steele, who threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns. Steele has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Chauncey Gunn was in the mix too, providing Jefferson with two scores.

Chamberlain didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-0 win against King on the 17th. As for Jefferson, they have also already played their next game, a 41-6 victory against Ridge Community on the 17th.
