Basketball Recap: Sandwich Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Sandwich didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-26), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 41-22 victory over the Richmond-Burton Rockets on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Sandwich's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Richmond-Burton, their defeat was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandwich and Woodstock will compete for holiday cheer at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Richmond-Burton, they will take on Fenton in a tournament on Friday.
